Engage Brands is looking for an excellent communicator who has adequate experience of working with a wide variety of tools related to online interaction viz.: message boards, blogs, chats and other social network tools. This is a service oriented role and we are looking for a Resource that is confident, a quick learner and comfortable interacting at all levels. This role will require having good business judgment skills, creativity skills and ability to work independently.

Roles and Responsibilities


Primarily you would be responsible for moderating online interactions, on online communities organized by large companies or public associations for their customers. In this position, you will:

  • Monitor participation in online forums / blogs etc. and take appropriate steps to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
  • Work directly with participants online to provide them an adequate help source or guidance they need from time-to-time.
  • Collaborate with other moderators or managers who may be in place on the customer side.
  • Create User-Generated Content (UGC)
  • Manage the content entered by users on the client's site.
  • Respond and act on abuse reports viz. delete abusive content and suspend abusive users as and when necessary.
  • Review member content to ensure:
    • Content meets our terms of service and community guidelines
    • Compelling member content is discovered and showcased.
  • Daily reporting of moderation activities, which includes suggesting member content to showcase.
  • Research and write content for blogs etc.
  • Develop weekly or monthly reports that summarize activity in the community, provide meaningful analysis, and show progress against goals.
  • Work effectively with a corps of active users who help support the community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to keep the community vibrant and active with new programs, promotions, etc.
  • Advice and guide customer personnel on effective principles of online community management.


Additional Skills:

  • Should be well-versed with link-building campaigns.
  • Experience in working with Moderation tools /Community Management tools like Radian 6, Jive Software, Pluck, Mzinga, Prospera etc., will be an added advantage.

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – English and other language [French, german, Spanish].
