Since founding the company in 1993, Mr. Puri has led Optimos to national prominence as a comprehensive enterprise-wide computing solutions company. Optimos provides state-of-the-art information technology solutions to public sector and Fortune 100 firms. Mr. Puri is a leader in the Northern Virginia business community and a recognized authority on information technology, e-government and technology education. Under Mr. Puri's leadership, Optimos has been at the forefront providing the Federal government with systems that empower agencies to quickly and effectively respond to record requests from constituents and other departments. These solutions not only improve customer service, they reduce paperwork and improve job satisfaction. Recognizing early on the importance of technology in the fields of human resources and financial management, Mr. Puri was a pioneer bringing cutting edge computer training to career professionals facing layoffs. Lifetime learning and mentoring for those in need is a personal and professional commitment that is reflected in the core culture of Optimos. Mr. Puri also has a long-standing interest in healthcare, particularly issues facing the elderly. In 1993 he received a Small Business Innovative Research Grant from the National Institutes of Health for an interactive Alzheimer's diagnostic tool. Prior to founding Optimos, Mr. Puri worked at the World Bank. Mr. Puri received his MBA in Finance from the George Washington University School of Business. ![]() Alex DeanAlexander E. Dean recently retired from Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) after a 30-year career with the firm. He served as Global Industry Managing Partner for the Communications Industry, Managing Partner of Asia Pacific Communication & High Technology, and Managing Partner of the Southeastern United States Communications Industry practice. Mr. Dean serves on the Board of Directors for the School of Business at The College of William and Mary, and on the Board of Directors of The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. He is a native of Massachusetts, earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from George Washington University. |
